MoniWatt for Seplos questions

We target the Seplos BMS V2 and V3 used in 16S 48 V packs, including the Mason-style DIY kits. Tell us your BMS version and board label when you order; we test that version before shipping, and if it cannot be supported you are refunded.

For watching your pack, yes. For changing BMS parameters, no: the box is read-only on purpose, so you keep using the Seplos tool for configuration.

That is the plan for paralleled packs on a shared RS485 line, each with its own address. Tell us your setup so we include it in testing.

Your inverter normally talks to the BMS over CAN or over a dedicated RS485 link. The box uses a free RS485 socket and leaves the inverter link alone. If your setup shares one RS485 line between the inverter and the box, tell us first.

The Seplos edition uses a communication board with RS485 and CAN, and each box is assembled, loaded with the Seplos firmware and tested on a Seplos BMS for your configuration. 10 November 2026 is our firm shipping date; if we miss it, you get a full refund unless you prefer to wait.

Yes. The screen, local dashboard, MQTT and JSON API all run on your home network. The internet is only used for the optional remote dashboard.

It only connects to the communication port and is powered by USB, drawing under a watt. It never connects to the pack terminals.

They have their own editions: MoniWatt for JK BMS and MoniWatt for Daly.
